Event Notes Note (1) Suckling pedigree has date of burial 2 Jul 1689. Note (2) Will of Robert Suckling, 1681. I Robert Suckling do make this my last will and Testament. I desire to be buried by my first loving wife, Dame Anne Wodehouse, in the Chancel of Woodton Church, hoping hereafter to be a partaker in the glorious and happy resurrection. I bequeath to my eldest son, Robert Suckling, all lands in Woodton, Topcroft, Bedingham, Brooke, Kyrsted, Langhall, Seethinge, Ditchingham Broome and Trowse, in the county of Norfolk ; and in Barsham, Shipmeadow, Ringsfield, Beccles, St Andrews, &-c., in Suffolk. Also I give to his use, the Marshes at Haddiscoe, wherein Mr Love of Lystand and my father, Mr Charles Suckling, were partners; also Tyndall Wood and Sexton Wood, which I purchased of the Duke of Norfolk, and an osier ground and meadow in Barsham called Capon's Dole. My mind is that my wife shall have my house at Trowse Newton, and after her decease to the use of my son Horatio, and if he be dead then to my son William. I bequeath unto my said son William 500, when he comes out of his apprentiship. I ordain my eldest son Robert my Executor; to whom I give all my estate, and my Chambers in Gray's Inn. I give to Blanch Scotlowe 100 at her day of marriage. Given under my hand and seal 1684. This will was proved at Norwich.
